These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the PlanBuild.AI website, platform, reports and related services (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these terms.
1. Use of the Services
You may use the Services only in accordance with these terms and applicable law. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your account credentials secure.
2. Nature of our outputs — important
PlanBuild.AI provides indicative pre-screening to support your decisions. Our assessments, figures, cost estimates and reports are not formal planning, building, engineering, surveying or financial advice, and must not be relied on as a substitute for professional advice or a statutory approval. You should confirm all outputs with a suitably qualified professional before acting on them. See our methodology for what is and isn't assessed.
3. Professional services
Where the platform connects you with builders, suppliers or professionals (including architects, planners, engineers and certifiers), those parties are independent and responsible for their own work, advice, stamps and certifications. PlanBuild does not provide those professional services itself and is not a party to any contract you enter into with them.
4. Accounts & payment
Some features require an account or payment. Fees, credits and entitlements are as described at the point of purchase. You agree to pay all applicable charges.
5. Intellectual property
The Services, including software, content and branding, are owned by PlanBuild or its licensors. You retain ownership of the data you submit, and grant us a licence to use it to provide the Services.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Services, including by attempting to disrupt them, access them without authorisation, scrape data at scale, or use outputs in a misleading way (for example, presenting an indicative estimate as a formal approval or valuation).
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlanBuild is not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on indicative outputs or from dealings with third parties connected through the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
8. Changes
We may update the Services and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the platform or by email; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
